I was at a business meeting in Milwaukee and received a phone call from wife Kelly. She told me that there was water in our basement and it appeared there was something wrong with our water heater. I told her to call Master Services. Within an hour or so the team came out and we were told that our water heater burst. The Master Services team helped dry up the water and got us a new water heater that same day! The old water heater weighed over a thousand pounds so it took four team members from Master Services to lift it. They were able to come back the next day and lift it and take it out of the basement.
I was so impressed with the promptness, professionalism and high level of service with this experience. The cost was very reasonable for the services provided and the most important thing they provided was peace of mind to my wife and I as it was a pretty stressful situation. We have three kids and it was pretty important we had a working water heater for our family.
Another situation we had that happened was that our 4 year old son at the time was taking our vent caps off in the house randomly and putting toys and other items down them. We only found this out when we had the Master Services team out to clean out our ducts. The previous owner apparently had animals but never had them cleaned out. There was a lot of animal hair and remnants in the vents that they cleaned out. We definitely felt the difference in breathing better!
When talking with Jack about this he said we have never had this situation but he would find out a way to get this done. Jack came back after consulting with Mary. He and one other technician were able to use a device to get several (probably around 20-30 items) out of the vents. This was important because the airflow was being blocked in several rooms of the house. The commitment and diligence to find a way to get this resolved was so appreciated by my wife and I.
The final solution was screwing down all the floor vent caps so that this would not happen in the future. This was definitely a “Master Service” as it was a difficult situation to resolve but Jack and the team figured out a solution.
Finally, we did get a new air conditioner and furnace installed in our house from Master Services back five or six years ago. Jack was extremely professional in meeting with my wife and I. He took several hours to do measurement and analytics of the home. Our home was in need of a new A/C and furnace due to the efficiency and age of both. The team installed and got both put in for us and we had noticed a big difference in efficiency as well as heating and cooling our home much better.
One of the biggest things we have seen is the cost of our energy bill. That has gone down around 20-30% since we have had these installed. In fact, a window installer asked for the cost of our energy bill and was shocked how low it was for the size of our home. We have also been very happy with the service we have received in our tune ups from the technicians over the last several years.
We are very comfortable using and referring Master Services for all plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs. Thank you Mary, Jack and team!
